    Default Fightercat carbon fiber Daytona

I have a new undrilled fightercat Daytona up for sale. I did epoxy in a motor mount but that can be removed if wanted to do twins instead. The boat is being sold with an neu 1527 .5y 8mm shaft from 2011 with HRC cooler on it. Price is $475, the motor alone from ose sells for $420. Shipping in US only and will be at buyer expense.

Ok, thanks. I just looked up the kv and I’ll pass, but that is a great deal given that 2011 is an ideal year for these motors! The quality isn’t what it was then.

Yes that is very true! that is why I had mentioned the build date. If you are looking for a specific neu motor I might have one.

Is there actually enough room in there to do twins with those big ol tuna cans? And does ose still sell those if I wanted to do twins? I may be interested. Thanks Scott

Are you asking if you can do twin 1527s? Or just twins in general

Well can u set this up r twins with 1527s? And if not what size twins would be compatible?
also real quick, how hard is it to take that epoxy off and setup up for dual drive? Sorry for all the questions but I’m a green horn when it comes to boats. However I really do want a nice twin setup cause I have a bunch of 6s packs from my rc helicopters. Thanks

No problem at all! The twin 1527s may be possible but would be overkill I think. Maybe some 36mm motors or TP 4030cm motors would be great. The boat is 37 inches long but very light weight. Getting the epoxy off shouldn’t be to hard and since I never drilled any holes setting it up for a twin would be just the same as any other twin build

Would these be enough battery for this boat with the current motor setup? 16254613167043585580958941484326.jpg

The MAH would probably be enough but that voltage is too high I think. The motor is 2500kv

No PMs per the rules unless it’s to finish the transaction. The boat is still available.
