    Default Glueing carbon fiber motor mount .

    Hi all i am in the process of glueing a TFL carbon fiber motor mount to birch plywood . Which is a stronger glue thick ca or west systems epoxy. Regards Andris Golts.

    It's less of which is "stronger", and miss of which is more appropriate, better, and so forth, for boats. Use epoxy.

    Never use CA for a permanent bond. Very brittle bond.

    Definately use the West Systems. Rough up bonding surface on the CF, smooth glossy surfaces don't bond well. Make sure the epoxy is applied high enough on the motor mount to flow through the small holes they drill along the edge.
