I have a couple of the pearls that are framed. The boats are from a previous version, but they all run very well. I build these boats for some customers to whatever stage you want. Stages would be:: framed, decked and hardware mounted, sealed and sanded ready to paint, and finish painting available. Let me know if your interested.

Is a black pearl a scale hydroplane?

They are sport class hydroplanes. These boats run in P-Sport hydro class (4S lipo Power). Scales hydros are actual scale models of real Unlimited hydroplanes (think Miss Budweiser and many others). In FE we run 4S 10th scales and 8S/10S 8th scale versions of real boats that raced throughout the years.
