    Default Rudder throw

    How much rudder throw is really needed, I?m trying to adjust my EPA on my transmitter.

    Needed for what? What boat? What speed? Hot tight do you want to turn?

    For oval racing monos I usually set between 1/2” to 3/8” each side measured at the back edge of the rudder. You could start there....

    Speeds around 70 max

    Speeds and driver style is how I see it. My boats that are set for oval race laps use / need very little throw something like 40%. Big wide high speed corners need very little. My other play boats = slower corners, driven like a nut drunkin sailor need more rudder, in this case more is better.
    If its jest a play boat you can change it to suit your mood, want to go fast dial it down, want to drive like a nut leave it full?
