Default Stuffing tube and servo mounts?

I?m building a boat using a 24? plastic mono hull that originally had no rudder and two motors. Can someone help me think of a good way to fabricate a mount for my servo and some supports for the stuffing tube? I didn?t really find anything available to buy that would work...at this point I?m thinking of using some small wooden blocks and gluing them to the hull.

If the pre-fab servo mounts won't work for you then the wooden blocks can work quite well. It is easier to make them from balsa but due to the soft nature of the wood the screws that hold in the servo will give up pretty quickly. What I have done is to add a plywood cap to the block and that
helped it hold up much better,or you could just make them out of hardwood. As for the stuffing tube you can just finley cut some fiberglass
mixed with epoxy making a slurry and puddle it around the inside of the hull with the tube installed letting it drip through for added strength and water
proofing. Make sure to roughly sand the tube first so the epoxy will stick.
