Looking for a big mono hull

Hello all,
It's been about 1.5 years since I was on the site and the last time I was, I was looking for the same thing. I got a bit side tracked with some land/dirt RCs and had a lot of fun with them. Bought an Arrma Notorious for my grandsons and the thing is crazy!

Anyway, my focus is back on getting a large mono hull, something between 40" and 50". I'll ask a "what would you buy" question. I'd like fast, good handling (seems the Cats are better for that but I like the look of a mono) and any brand preferences for reliability, etc. I'd hoping to put together a real runner with a max of $1000 for my budget. So if you were starting from scratch, what would you buy?

I have a 45in delta sniper. It's my race boat and is very stable and fast. I race it on 10s w a ztw 300a and to 56 series motor. Its a good class to run and can be built under a grand. Hope this helps
