I've had great results with my TP motors and have heard from more than one person with more motor knowledge than myself, that the quality and quantity of copper inside the can is better then most of the other common budget brands.

When the build quality of Neu motors started to drop a few years ago, a number of us started using the TP motors. They are a definite step above SSS and Leopard in quality. I haven’t purchased one in in several years, but was totally pleased with the four I owned.

I have similar praise of TP. They stepped up their quality as Neu's declined. They are very similar in construction and built with decent quality materials. The owners are model boaters so they understand our needs a bit better than some of the other companies. IMO they are the best value for the money right now.

I would agree that they are the best value for money if you focus on quality.
I have a pair of 4050CM that I push quite hard and they are ok for quite some time already.

I would add too that they are pretty responsive. I broke a rotor and they replaced it no charge. They did a custom wind for me too.

All of the above. I own a half dozen TP's and have nothing but good things to say.

I have a question about KV, what kind of KV do you choose for a twin setup and how many cells ? Mono hull 50" (126cm).
