    Default stock motor wire upgrade

I have upgraded the ESC in my Blackjack and I am not liking the 10 gauge wire 6mm connectors going down to 14 gauge wire (or whatever it is) on the motor.

Is it possible to take apart the can and upgrade the wires?

    not really...
the outbound cables you see are part of the winding of the motor. Aside of that, the wires are insulated and one could not solder the ends to a bigger gauge wire.

Then what is the best way solder the smaller wires into the larger bullet connectors?

    what size are the connectors?
if they are 5.5mm then just flood the inside of the connector w/ solder,
put a little solder on the exposed wire then melt the solder in the connector
and shove the wire in it. That's what I had to do with my SV setup.

Thats what I figured but had to ask. I am going to get some quality solder and go to town...
