Proboat Thundercat converstion

I have a Proboat Thundercat that I want to convert to FE. I have been out of the rc hobby for some time and need some schooling in ESC?s, Lipo?s (to a point) and brushless motors. If some is willing to send me in the right direction I would be very appreciative.
