Default New Build Issue - Twin TP Motors Won?t Arm

I have built two 50+? carbon fiber monohulls over the last 8 months; 50? Raptor (my sons) from Germany and a 52? Ariane 3 from TFL. With the exception of the hulls, all of the hardware and electronics are identical. Both boats use twin TP 5670 motors, nd twin ZTW 300Amp ESC?s, Spektrum MR4000 receivers, Power HD 25kg servos, Castle 2.0 BEC?s, and Castle ?B? Links. With the exception of the transmitters and hulls, we have purchased everything (hardware and electronics) from OSE. My son uses a Spektrum Rugged transmitter for his Raptor and I use the new Spektrum DX5 Pro for the A3. With my sons build the only problem we have (still unresolved) is that we can not program the ESC?s using the ZTW programmer, so he is running it with the defaults already in the ZTW.

On my boat the A3, I am able to program the ZTW?s but the motors won?t arm and my transmitter?s trim monitor shows 100+ for brake. I can not seem to find any adjustment instructions on how to adjust ?brake? on the transmitter. I did program both ESC?s with ?no brake?, so I am at a lost as to what the problem is with no motor? I do have steering. When I plug in the batteries (4 HRB Graphene 5S 5000mha/100C), the ESC?s or motors ( they are so close together that I can?t tell which) emit a continuous beeping sound. But won?t arm.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

for the raptor do you use the short wire on the esc to the seal programmer ?and you have to use an power pack for powering up the progammer and un plug first the rx than plug in the esc than power up the programmer
for the a3 set the throttle trim at 0 then on the tx set at full speed and power up the esc then it will arm(you can find more on this forum about this problem)

We have the ZTW programmer and hooked it up to the short wires on the ZTW300 amp ESC’s on the Raptor. It will display ready to connect., but will not enter into the menus. We have not tried a separate battery pack yet. We will give that a try.
Regarding your suggestion on the A3, when you say set the throttle trim on the transmitter to”0” which “trim” function on the DX5 Pro are you talking about? ( subtrim?)

I had the same problem with a 200A. The program card worked after I had done a manual (count the beeps) set up with the tx. PIA, but it worked.

Thank you, everyone ! Problem resolved on the A3. I reset everything, calibrated the DX5 Pro the re-bound the receiver but using a separate battery pack to power the receiver. Now I will hss as be to try something similar to see if I can program the Raptor?s ESC?s!
    Thanks Again!
