None of those are big enough for the Plett Cat. Maybe the 452 for the smaller cat.

I?ve got two bigger ABC props:
    2518-10-50 and 2316-10-50

Also, any suggestions for props I can order are more than welcome.

This Teras was meant for a Big gas hydro, but I’m still working on that boat. I can't resist seeing what it can do in the R42.

I got them both from AC Models. Wayne took over for Andy and still offers every hull Andy made even though Wayne only has a few cats listed on his site (Old AC Model Boats Site): http://www3.telus.net/acboats/Home.htm

Here's the new site for Ac Model Boats: https://www.acmodelboats.com/

The Nitro Cat is a really, really nice hull. The glass is thick and nicely done; the gel coat is perfect and the craftsmanship is all around excellent. I ran both boats this morning briefly to just get a sense of what they can do and both hulls ran flawlessly. They ran wet so I'll make some adjustments before I go out again this weekend.

AC hulls do have a tendency to run a bit wet. Run wet, stay on the water, finish the race. Gassers don’t so much care about airing them out for efficiency as we FE guys do. You can get the balance to happen it is just a bit of playing around. The R42 will air out well but you need to blip the throttle before a turn so it grabs( I am talking 70mph here mind you).

I too would love a 36 nitro cat, I do have a little 30” Lightning.

Wayne had to refinish the molds for my boat since they sat unused for years. I think, with how far electrics have come in the past decade, it?s kind of a hidden gem. It would be cool to see more of them on the water. It?s a unique looking cat with clean lines and seems to run great so far.

I say go for it and order one!

Lol, well I need another hull around here like a hole in the head. And I haven’t even been out this year with one yet. Been very busy with work and building my 4x4 but it is almost done so I’ll get back to the boats.
But glad that Wayne is putting out some of the other hulls.
