    Hello,

    results from Munich SAW 2020.

I hope I can get a few videos. This year's sensation was Ralf M. with his L20 Mono. Ralf managed to drive over 200 km / h and set a new world record with an avg of 195.827 km / h.

    Thanks Klaus.
I love that sawn off flatcat, its great to see things I would never have dreamed of, working well.
Do you have any pictures, info, or video of the L1 boats?

I have no more Photos or Videos from the L1 class. The video from the Flatcat is the "Mini" class.

    There are 3 limitations:
-Hull length maximum 450mm (this includes bow to transom or rear spoiler edge of the hull (depending on what is further back) and everything that protrudes beyond that and cannot be dismantled.
    -Battery maximum 3S
    -Battery weight maximum 230g.
Otherwise apply to Mono / Hydro / Kat (the general rules for the type of hull.

    Hello,

I would be happy if you would link the videos or the channel. Perhaps this will spark a greater interest in the hobby again. Here in Germany there are hardly any people who really do it. Sorry for my English, Internet Translator.

    greetings
    Klaus

Interesting, we in the UK tried to adopt the German SAWs classes as we were out on our own, but it looks like we have got a couple of things wrong.

You only have 1 Mini class per hull type? We have separate L2 and L3 Mini classes for each hull type.
Are you sure about the 230g Mini battery weight limit? We had a 110g mini battery weight limit for a long time time to sync with the Naviga Mini race classes, but we recently raised it up to 140g as that is what we thought the German limit was.

L1 and Minis are the only classes we really have the room to be truly competitive with internationally here, so we ought to get those right at least.

The mini class is not yet officially included in the rules. But that should happen soon. Gunnar H. from the Jag`s Team is the right contact for us. I think he is also registered here in the forum under "GunnarH".
