I think I have something that may work, for now.. I CA glued two 3/32? balsa together, sanded to make ?aerodynamic ? then glassed with medium lt wt, with tight cross weave. I am thinking of one vertical Dr. Jet tube at the back, some wire straps also at the back, then tape the front down... here is a mock up.

I?m waiting on drive line (tomorrow) to glue stuffing box and mount motor, 3D printed stock Allison, driver and seat+wheel, and graphics (this week, thanks to monoJeff!). Hoping to test soon.

    Mmmmmmm...... Jet tubes.......

I thought the full-sizes vintage boats just had flat-sided, squared-off fins...
