Yes, West Coast. Zooming in on the interior, I'm wondering how easy (or difficult, to be more accurate) it is to work on...especially accessing the grub screw on the coupler holding the flex/solid shaft (is it flex, or solid?).

Lol...that's exactly what I was wondering. The interior of your DF kinda reminds me of the engine bay of a Subaru and/or Audi - highly organized, and tightly compacted. Makes them simultaneously easier, and harder, to work on, depending on what's being done.

Speaking of "compact engine bay", how easy is it to remove/reinstall the ESC & motor...especially the ESC, as I think I'd need to replace it before use. I use the OSE-qs6 6mm connectors, and it looks like there isn't enough wire left to remove the current bullets, and solder on the OSE-qs6 connectors.

the esc is pretty easy to remove , only challenge is the motor , got to remove 4 bolts , a little time consuming , shouldn't have to do that much but rear mounted motor means shorter shaft which is good for less drag
