    Time and money. The ESC is barely enough to handle the stock setup, so that's one device that needs some additional current handling capacity. That hull is plastic and can't take much abuse in the way of impacts, so 3S power is about all you're going to want to throw at it while you learn. The stock motor coupler is garbage and should be replaced, but that introduces interference issues with the motor mount and the end of the stuffing tube. OSE sells an upgraded flex cable and strut for that boat that helps fix driveline vibration and early wear issues from the stock strut with no bushing in it.

    Once you get all of the deficiencies taken care of, you can look at upgrading the prop. Use something that's balanced like a Graupner K series composite prop or an aluminum CNC prop. Something along the lines of a 442 (1.4 pitch ratio, 42mm diameter) will do well with an upgraded ESC.
