Miss Budweiser 1/12 scale hydroplane

Dear Friends,

This is my first time on the forum. Looking forward to learning from those who have been doing this for a while.

I recently purchased a "Miss Budweiser 1/12 scale Nitro Hydroplane" She is 29 long by 14 wide. This is not my first boat, I have two fast eletric boats, but have no experience with hydroplane boats. Anyway, I'm converting this Nitro to brushless. Does anyone have any knowledge on setting up the strut and what size motor, prop combo I should be using? Would like to know what the depth of the strut should be. would love any advise!
