    Default Little help on wiring

Just ordered some batteries (4s/5000mah) and need some help. Have a Motley crue and blackjack 29v3 (both have 120a esc's, blackjack with 2000kv, MC with 1800kv motors) both boats ESC's have 2 connectors to run batteries series.
Like to run both boats, 2s in series and 4s in parallel, with the esc having 2 connectors. Is it possible?

    Hope you'all understand and thanks,
    John

Option 1: rewire the ESC so it has a single connector. Use a series harness with your 2S packs and a parallel harness when running 4S packs.
Option 2: Leave the ESC wiring as is, and run your 2S packs no differently than you have been. To run 4S in parallel, you'll still need a parallel harness for those two packs as well as a dummy connector on the second ESC connector that acts as a shunt. It's essentially a connector with a single looped wire soldered to both the + and - posts.

    Thanks,

I was thinking on the same (option 1) allot less resistance that i can think of and less chance of messing up connecting.
Option 2: too many wire connectors (too much to get it screwed up) as well as more resistance

The 3rd option is to replace all connections with bullet connectors which will be your best option if lower resistance and is your primary concern. You'll still need to solder up some parallel T connectors for your 4S scenario.
