    Default Tp 3630 1950kv

Looking for some suggestions. I recently swapped in this motor so that I could use the leopard on a different hull. I have had one test with the boat and found it to be substantially slower even when I went up to the next size in prop.
The original setup was a leopard 3660 2050 kv with an abc 1715
    I ran the tp with a 1717
I have been trying to figure out what timing is recommended for these motors. I?m going to be testing more on Friday and hopefully I?ll find a solution but I am obviously looking into recommendations
My test was roughly the equivalent of a heat race. I found the motor to be about 145 degrees, esc was 105, and batteries about 92 degrees.

Your TP3630 - 1950kv is a D wind motor, needs low timing 0 - 5 degrees. The 1717 prop has a lot of pitch for this motor so may be pushing temps up.

thank you Martin. I appreciate the feedback. I will be verifying the timing when I get the program card in my hands on Friday and I plan to play with more props as well

The next size prop is a 1716, the UL19 and Zelos prop.

Changed the timing in the esc and it helped the motor quite a bit
