    Default DF Cyberstorm 33

A new boat for this year's racing. Our club has two electric classes this year, P Ltd and Q open.

It has a carbon inlay, flood tube with height adjustable stinger, sonic wake 36x75 1900kv motor, OSE Raider 150 esc. I have color themed it in our club (local region sprots too) colors.

Our P Ltd has a max can size of 37x75 and hull length of 36" and a max batt of 4s 6000 mah. It is offshore style but mono/tunnel essentially. This is to make an entry level class that captures a number of existing boats in the club and can include Sonic Wakes etc. We will not be restrictive if someone turns up with a Spartan or something that is a little outside the rule as long as the max battery is adhered to. The point is to encourage people on the water and it to be a fun racing class.

I cleaned up the first club day of the year in 10-15 knot winds and 8-12" chop. Not fast racing but sooo much fun!

Absolutely, fun is what it is for. Not just for beginners. I sold my DF 29 to another club member for the class. It is his first FE and he is loving it.

To be fair my 30" Scarab would have been awesome in that water. I have to get that back up and running for rough water days!

Cleaned up on our March club day too. Running an ABC 1714 17* rake, goes great with that prop. Even starting on the outside lane in a couple of races I was able to chase down the other boats and get past them. I know there will be changes to their boats to get more speed! Still great fun.
