Default HobbyWing Marine 30a and Outrunners

Will this esc run high pole count outrunners trouble free?

I have not been able to find the maximum pole/rpm for this ESC, but most will handle 200,000 rpm for a two-pole motor. What motor (poles and Kv) and voltage are you planning to use?

High pole (9 and up) outrunners. Reason I ask, when I tried there 120a on the recoil 26 outrunner (14 pole) it would not run right.

That would translate to over 200,000 in 2-pole rpm, so if 200,000 is the limit that could be a problem. Another could be the timing - what is the ESC timing advance?
