What does the OP want to do with the cat? Oval racing, top speed runs, general bashing? What are his speed expectations? What is the capacity of his packs? Why does he want to be limited to one rather small prop?

General bashing but would like it fast without heat problems running two 5000mah 6s in parallel 60c packs just want to now best prop for boat single motor

You can should look into a leopard 4092 1480kv.

I have ran a tp 4060 1950kv, and a leopard 4092 2080kv. The both of them are 4092 cans, 60mm rotor length. The tp has significantly stronger magnets than the leopard. The 2 motors would have had the same kV but because of the strength of the tp magnets the kV is 1950 to 2080.

But the things is my leopard 2080 is at least 5mph faster than my tp. The leopard have a higher kV and holds the rpm better underload. And the leopard also runs cooler. Same hull, same prop, same ESC, same timing and same battery.

So for this reason I recommended leopard over tp.

But if you really want a tp the 4060 4y 1350kv or the 4070 3y 1520kv would be my recommendations.

For the tp 4050. I would suggest the 4050 5y 1330kv. My suggestion are for a good balance of reliability, speed and runtime. Using the 447 prop.
