Whip Q sport hull & hardware
For sale, used Whip 40.
Virginia Craftsman turnfin, speedmater hardware.
Strut is 1/4" type. I ran 1/4 cable in it and changed it recently to 3/16". I have multiple shims in the strut with both the 1/4" speedmaster bushing and a 3/16" bushing. Hard to explain.
I have not run it since I re-installed the stuffing tube.
Too big for me and 6S too expensive to race these days.
It has some race rash. The transom was pulled out once and repaired with chopped glass, etc.
Hull has about 1/16" deviation at the transom, not affecting it's running.
HAs two light coats of MAS epoxy, never painted. Needs proper finishing.

Lots of pics, I can take more of strut shimming. There is no cable, sorry, never ordered a new one, used one from another boat to install stuff tube.
Setup for 40mm x 98mm or 1527, HET 39-98, etc... 4092 could fit, 4082 maybe not.
