    Default New Cat Build

Looking to build a cat this year. Any suggestions on hulls and size? Kind of want something on the larger size, 40"-50". Was also thinking of a artr, paint, motors, esc's and its ready to rock. I just want something thats solid and fun to rip around the lake.

For built hulls to fit out yourself look at boats from, AC model boats, Aeromarine Laminates, RC Boatworks and Insane boats, for oval race type boats. Or for Scale type boats designed for straight lines look at boats from Hydro & marine or MHZ.

For ARTRs there is not much out there in this size range, the only 2 that come to mind are the Cheetah 41 the Zonda both from TFL. The cheetah is more capable in the corners, the Zonda is more scale. Or cruise the clasified adds, used boats of both types where someone has done the work for you do crop up from time to time.
