Default Location and flex shaft dia for 32'' 6s mono ?

Hi all still in design process of the 32'' 6s mono for stinger location i im thinking 3/8'' up from bottom of hull to c/l and a 1/16'' towards starboard side to offset prop torque . Would this be a good location to start with ? For the flex shaft i am thinking 3/16'' dia instead of the .150 '' flex shaft. What size flex shaft do most 6s set up's use ? Regards Andris Golts.

On a 32" Pursuit mono the c/l is 8mm up, i would also use 3/16"flex.

A 32” mono is a bit small for full 6S power in most water, prop size will need to be a bit smaller than is normal for a full power setup. What mono is the OP building? Prop size and vee depth/angle will matter for the CL placement of the strut. By all means use 3/16” cable.

try and keep the stinger as low down to the bottom of transome v as you can. 1.16 inch offset is not much. go atleast 1/8th.

I have the revolt and the pursuit. The two of the is similar in width at 235mm. The revolt have a slightly deep vee.

My pursuit strut is centered with no offset. And 4mm up from bottom of the vee.

The revolt is 8mm up from the bottom of the vee and have 3/16 offset.

I can tell you the pursuit handles a bigger diameter prop better than the revolt. And it is less affected by prop walk than the revolt.

So I would recommend the pursuit setting over the revolt setting.

As for prop diameter 3/16 inches is the way to go.
