    Default Coupler: Motor to Cable

Getting back into boating after a long absence of flying model aircraft, I am getting
back to my real first love of 1/8th scale model hydro's, and doing it FE for convivence.
Being that the suggested Leopard 4092 motor with 5 mm shaft being allowed in 1/8th
scale in the IMBPA I am not finding a coupler that goes from a 5mm shaft to a 1/4" (.25")
cable only been able to locate 6mm and 8mm to 1/4" cable. What company does the 5mm
to 1/4 coupler? Or who is a supplier that has this item?

    Many Thanks,

Is there a restriction in IMPBA on motor shaft sizes? Just curious.

Not to my knowledge but the motors are restricted with the latest editions being those
listed in a thread by Don Ferrette ( https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com...788#post720788)
and most of them have a 5 mm shaft.

If you go with a TP 4070 you can order it with an 8mm shaft. You can order direct from TP.
