Programming new esc

Does anyone know how to set up a new esc/receiver on a boat.my son has a miss geico 17 that the esc went bad on and I just received the new one today and installed it but nothing happens when it’s turned on. Is there a set up procedure to connect it to the radio and if so how do I go about doing it thanks

You will need to bind the radio again. Also, remember when running the boat to turn the transmitter on first, before the receiver. Go to page 7.
