Whats up with the Speedmaster SPDS-014-BSF 3/16'' strut bushings ?

Hi all replaced the above mentioned bushing on my JAE .21 rigger got less than 10 runs the bushing cracked at the drilled grease holes installed the same mentioned bushing on my 6s mono and less than 10 runs the bushing's soldered retainer ring came apart at the solder joint i thought these bushings where machined ! Has anyone had similar issues ? Regards Andris Golts.

i have noticed my speedmaster strut bushings are wearing out very quickly so maybe there using a cheaper type of brass compound now. i am thinking on going back to the lead teflon bushings as the good quality ones do last a while.

Had one desolder once. Soldered it back on.

If the ring comes unsoldered, that means it got very hot. Heat is from friction, so either there was not enough or not good enough lube used, or not enough gap between the drive dog and the end of the strut. Mine usually last a year of racing twice a month before I retire them....just in case.
