Hydro and Marine Drifter S - Current P-Ltd Cat Straightline Time Trial (SAW) NAMBA National Record Holder 67.771 mph 2-way average on 4S with factory stock AQ 2030 up for sale now that NAMBA SAWs have left California.
Made in Germany H & M Drifter-S hull (25-7/8 ? + hardware - full length 29-7/8?)
AQ 2030 with water jacket - used but not abused
Fightercat 140 amp ESC + programming box
Offna rudder servo
.150 flexshaft
Generic strut w. inline rudder (configured for quick flip-up to facilitate removing & lubing flexshaft + offset rudder adaptor bracket & offset rudder servo rod)
The hull has never been crashed into anything but has a number of frequent flier miles. It has expandable foam in the nose, glassed interior hull side seams and has had several gelcoat hairline cracks and noticeable but solid hull seams repaired. The hull IS extremely strong/solid. Originally yellow in color, the paint job isn?t shiny/flashy highly detailed and honestly could use some new paint. It?s a raceboat paint job and gets the job done.
Drifter hulls are a true stepped design and air out to the point of basically flying over the water leaving almost no wake. (pictures available)
With a fresh set of Dinogy 3800?s set up for P-Ltd. with the AQ2030 it has made several verified/witnessed one-way fast passes over 70 mph.
Can be operated with 2 X 2S 5000?s in series or 4S2P 3600 ? 3800 ? 4000?s.
The ESC is robust, and has one unique operating procedure in which it waits 10 seconds after powering up to check itself ( full throttle position) before each arming. Includes a Fightercat dedicated program box.
