    Default Zonda with mods

    SOLD
Zonda that has the following modifications:

    Motors: TP 4050 1570kv
ESC's: Hobby Wing Sea King 180A
Cables: 3/16 upgraded heavy duty 1 piece
    Rudder: Dual pick up
    Servo: Power HD 20mg waterproof
    Props: CNC

Fiberglass hull with layer of Kevlar for extra strength, has small crack in gel coat on outside (see picture). Doesn't leak.
All the upgrades where done very recently with little use! With this set up the boat is capable of 78 - 84mph.
Some paint missing from hatch tape pulling it off.

Asking $650 + CONUS. Way more than this invested.

    Thanks, Eddie

Hey thanks for the super fast response. I'm trying to decide whether to go with this boat or go with a new Geico Zelos 36".

Just bought a Sonicwake 36. I like the speed and self righting but it is too unstable at +50mph.

How stable is this boat at top end?

I had a Sonicwake that ran 55+ and was totally unstable. I also own a Geico 36 along with the Zonda. The Zonda is very stable if you learn how to apply the throttle very smoothly. It has enough power when you jerk the throttle it will jump out of the water and flip. If I do the same with the Geico 36 it will do the same. In my opinion both very stable if you can control your throttle hand. Zonda is longer and a little narrower. But still very stable. All depends on set-up! I tell you what, if you want the Zonda I'll set it to you for $600 shipped. Let me know.

    Nice offer.

I am going to look at the Geico 36 at a local Hobbytown, then make a decision. Thanks!

You can run either 2 X 6S, or you can run 4 X 3S. I normally run 2 X 6S 70 or 90c. if you look, I have add 2 extra battery trays on top of the tunnel on the inside.

    Hi Ok understood no radio.
Other than that is it adjusted, lubed, ready to run?

Why get rid of this one vs the Geico 36?

    Thanks

The Geico is new and I'm still playing to get the best speed out of it. The Zonda is probably stronger when it comes to a crash. I was running my Geico this morning and flipped it at 82mph and ripped the tray loose inside the boat!

The Zonda is ready to go except the radio. The props that I am including should get you 75 - 80mph. If you want to go faster you need to use other props (ABC 1716 or 1815). Do you want the batteries for an additional $75?

    Thanks, Eddie

    David,
I just want you to understand that this boat doesn't come with a radio. That is the way they sell it from OSE. The radio that I bought for this boat I also use on two others. Also I had OSE solder the ends on the speed controllers because I don't own a soldering gun. If your still interested I can include a set of 6S 4500mah 90C SMC batteries with the same connectors for an additional $75. The batteries cost me $190 less than a year ago. You will still need a radio and receiver. Let me know...Thanks[/QUOTE]
