    Default Nitro to fast electric

    hello all,

I was into nitro mono years ago and I just ordered a 4092 1730kv for a 36" areomarine with 180 amp esc for 6s and was wondering if anyone can give me a starting point for a prop.
    I am thinking x448 octura I was running x452 with OPS 7.5.

Depending on what are your goals, an x448 on that motor will need to run 6s 2p and the esc might be a little light. Better to start with a smaller prop x445 or prather 220 and work your way up. You have probably gone higher in kv than you needed, 1200-1500 kv would be plenty.
It really pays to ask the questions first before you buy, there is a heap of experience here and guys are willing to help you get it right first time.

thanks for the reply, you are correct I should have asked first but I wanted the 4092 and OSE did not have the 4092 combo with a lower kv. maybe I can call and hopefully they can help. thanks again.

Hello all and thanks Peter A,
I was lucky enough to have found OSE and this forum. The service from OSE is awesome they are exchanging the 1730kv for a 1390kv and I feel I'm on the right track now. can anyone tell me if should remove the stringers from my nitro to FAST electric boat?

The Challenger 43 is a hull I would love to have. Just in the too hard basket to get one to NZ.

    Hello all,

The build is coming along well. Ended up with 4092 leopard 1390kv seaking 180v3 and 6s2p. I ask for help with center of gravity. Any suggestions? 36" areomarine scorpion.
