    Default Anyone have problems getting the flex shaft out of the proboat recoil 26

    Flexshaft is stuck won't come out but motor coupler spins putting trying to put on new coupler

    the shafts get crushed by over tightening and bulge on the other side of the Ferrell inside the collect is usually what happens if you have enough room to take apart the collect you can try to spread the fingers on the Ferrell to pull the shaft out more then likely your shaft is shot also

    Cool

    I think he meant to say ferrule, but he really means collet. The collet is the part which contracts and squeezes the cable. A soft cable and/or over-tightening can deform the cable making it difficult to remove.
