    Default 60 cm / 23" Catamaran setup

I' ve got this small 23" catamaran, I need your help for the setup.
    One motor or twin ?

    I think that 3S is fine with 1 x 3300kV or 2 x 3300kV brushless motors, what do you think ?

I think you have the right idea. 2860 leopard or something like that and I would think a 35mm prop should be good for a single.

I'm slowly building a 24" twin hull for fun that I received free. Struts need trimming. I too am in the process of figuring out what to power it with. I have mostly 2s and 3s packs, hoping for a quick 2s setup and 3s for some zip-zip runs. Will be paying attention to this one, I enjoy the smaller stuff now a days.

Those look like airplane controllers. Not so easy to get them to work with car/boat radio. Better to order esc with water cooling already and they work with surface radio.

This ESC is a Turnigy Plush 40A.

The only difference is the price, I paid 9€ for 2 pièces :

It's also an airplane esc with no water cooling.

Since your going to run it in a boat why not get one with water cooling and one that will work with your surface radio.

My Spectrum is a surface radio, when the esc is set correctly no problem.

It has nothing to do with the ESC being “set correctly”. It is all about how you set the transmitter, and not all transmitters can be so adjusted. I have used aircraft controllers in boats by adding water cooling, or in low-amp-draw boats without water cooling. But Spektrum and Futaba transmitters can be adjusted so the air controllers will work. Good luck.
