    Default Scarab Weekend!

My wife didn't bother me the entire weekend...she let me do my boat thing and kinda knew that I was at a point in the project that it was either going to sink or swim. I started laying up the hull Friday and Saturday. The moment of truth came Sunday morning and was blown away...not only did it pop out effortlessly but turned out perfect!!
A frigging 60", totally scale Scarab KV hull!
I'm ecstatic to say the least...hull weight is 5.1 pounds.
I'm gonna lay up the deck later this week.
I spent the rest of the day test fitting the motors and drives.
    Check out some pics!
The flange around the hull will be trimmed to 3/16's and will be the epoxy surface that will connect the deck.20190512_173115.jpg

I agree!! Who did that KV Alfa? The front deck hatches, interior, and race engine hatches, are spot on to a 1:1 Scarab 38KV.

It is. Looking at the website it seems that it only comes as a hull bottom no top, which is a shame because the length is great at 104cm or 41".

Sure is! I love Marinetic. Maybe someday the speed bug will pass and I'll own one. They are not unreasonably expensive at all.

    Hi Shawn,
I am very sorry for the late answer. Because of renovating our home and
prepairing our wedding, there is not very much time left.
Yes, sure we ship to Canada. At the moment, I am not quite sure about
the conditions, but I think it will be 16€ via DHL international.
