To add to my other thread, here is some good Lipo info. I'll start with 3s for reference. Please check back as there's more to come.

OK, I've put all of the info into one file. Hopefully it will upload without any issues.

If it doesn't upload, I'll have Steven place here.

Again, this is a zipped folder which contains one file in Excel format (spreadsheet). You will need Microsoft Excel or similar program to open and view.

For those without Microsoft Office, you can download Open Office for free. I have both it and office and will tell you I think OO is even better, Go to http://www.download-new.com/openoffice/1/

If one of you fine folks could now compile a list of the timing and PWM info for each motor we would have it all. Good luck though, you probably won't find it on most websites and I have asked the question of some anufacturers and they don't even know what that is! Without the right settings you can cause bad performance or burn up the motor! Also, if an ESC says it is auto timing", pass it by!

Jim, look at post 2. I've tried updating this, but it take a lot of time and it's very tough to track all the newer technology.

Thanks Ben. But when I clicked on the file in post 2, it says "Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" Any ideas?

It seems Revolectrix LiPo Batteries have started to emerge. They can be charged to 4.27V per cell. Some of the folks who have been using them while only charging to 4.20V per cell have noticed an increase in speed. I love bringing up dinosaur threads! lol

Thought the 4.27's weren't allowed, even when only charged to 4.2.

    5. No High Voltage cells will be allowed at any time
