    Default Flex shaft oiling?

I'm a 1st time builder, building an ML Boatworks 1/8 scale unlimited hydroplane. What lubrication is used for the flex shafts on FE boats? I will be running a SSS 5694 800KV motor with 1/4 inch flex shaft, about 30 inches long. Stuffing box has only one bend.

For the 5694 i run with 1/4 drive flex...i use either a marine green grease or a good chain saw bar lube...I'm sure others will chime in....

Thanks very much - I think I'll use the green grease.

I have been using a combination of Lucas marine grease and Duralube. Grease the shaft, install and add a few drips of the oil to the top of stuffing tube by motor. Since you’re building a decent size boat you could install a tbar type Oiler with reservoir. This is what the gas guys do

Which Duralube product? I've been meaning to try a thinner mixture than just grease on my saw boats this summer
