    Default New outrunner 600 Series 1220kV - 2200 Watts

This 600 Series brushless motor should be fine, 8S or 10s

    Fine for what?

The motor specs already tell you the cell count, 4S to 8S. Running 10S would overspeed the motor, even 8S is pretty fast for a poorly cooled outrunner. Note that the maximum of 2200 watts on 8S means a maximum draw of just 75 amps. This is probably best as a 6S sport motor.

    Fine for a twin setup with 2 x 8S in a Titus for example, mono 1260mm (49,61").

    LOL !

    Where is your 39" catamaran set-up ?
It's not for the 750mm carbon hull ?
    You're now looking for a Titus set-up ??

Yes, It could be the best set-up you could put in your first boat... if one day you started it !!

Its a bit smaler then the scorpion 4035/1260 kv. So a 55 mm prop on 6s would be around max load i guess, and on 8s probably around a 45 mm.
Tried the same size motors, (hobbyking Helidrive SK3 T600 1350 kv) in a twin 45 mono some time ago...It got hotter then I like to on 6s/ 55/1,4 props. But yes outrunners are great if you want a light motor that can turn a "big" prop...I have another 45 single mono running a T700 /480 kv/12s (around 450 G of motor). It could probably "run for hours" with a 58mm-3-blade without getting real hot. But with a 62-3 it gets to hot to fast.

I think that 4400 Watts is very high, I like twin setups with outruner motors, light weight and incredible sound .
