Default Hardware for HPR 135 build

    Hi guys...

New to this forum and new to highspeed cats.
    But here goes!
I have bought myself a HPR 135 CFK/AFK hull, and now looking into some hardware.
First of all, Rudder and drives?

What would you choose and why?
The easy one is to just pick HPRs own hardware, but i can see that many choose to go in other directions..

So please let me know, what and why :)
Only important issue is that it shall be a easy fit. I do not want to make some big mods on the hull, just to fit the hardware.

    Best Regards - Frank

I would choose HPRs own.. But MBP has the "smartdrive xl". it looks cool, and maybe there is an advantage to the "square". WD200-modellbau has some great looking rudders, (and drives). But I have no idea if they would fit...

There are also drives from Manuel Wenny and Natatorun Custom CF Parts. Friend Stelios Metalsak on FB he's is rigging one right now with Wenny's drives and posting great pics.

Personally I would go CustomCF parts for the rudder(loctite all tiny screws) and either their drives or MBP ‘smart’ drives.

I went this route with my rudder on my 115 but HPR drives and I’d like the drives to be a bit longer and the flat bottom would help as well.

For the Rudder, i have been looking at customCFparts. they got some nice ones.

But the drives are i different story.. I like the ones from MBP, but they seems to be very long and need a extension on the back of the hull to work?
What will the flat bottom on the drives do good for?

Havent seen Wenny drives anywhere. Im not on facebook :D

The flats on the bottom of the drives do make for a ride surface believe it or not. I have experienced this myself. Mind you that is at 100 +

Dont like the looks of the HPR rudders. Looks to small for the hull.

Looking forward to get crackin' with the parts.

    Havent decided on electrics yet.

All in = Lehner motors. But i really like the looks and sound of MHZ Scorpions..
And then there is SSS, TP, Leopard and Neu...
