Default Zenoah Killer 450, Outoard Tunnel fun....

Ive been running a single Q powered Tunnel for many years successfully in the District 13 Open tunnel class, and I often run with 3.5cc, 7.5cc, 11cc and gasoline powered tunnels. You never know what will show up for this class as it is truly an "open" class. I have been wanting to build a twin outboard for quite a while to run in the class, mainly to mess with the much larger gas tunnel guys. My current single Q tunnel is probably the fastest boat that runs in the class, but passing a slightly slower, but MUCH larger gas boat on the race course can be difficult at times. And they use that to their advantage, hence the name "Zenoah Killer"

I built this boat on the platform of a prototype Vans Racing Cougar 450 hull which was designed to be used with Gas outboard engines. I basically doubled all of the equipment that i use on my single Q for this build as i've had great success with it over the years. Im running Seaking 180 ESC's, Leopard 4082 1600kv motors, and Roaring Top 6S cells.

All of the brackets and adapters for the twin portion were made by me.

Just got it back from the painter and put back together. Its first race will be in SOWEGA in February. My race partner is also building another one just like it, and is almost finished with his. Just wanted to share, she should be a handful!
