A friend who occasionally dunks his seaplane has asked me if there are any alternatives to CorrosionX. He thought that the boating community might know. Any suggestions?

Whats wrong with corrosion X? It's some of the best stuff out there and what I have been using in my boats for almost 20 years.

My friend was responding to a statement by the author of a seaplane article on the AirAge web site.
"....Anti-corrosion sprays for electronics are available from hobby shops that deal with RC boats and they really will help protect your electronics...."
I told him that this was misleading. There probably isn't anything else but CorrosionX, so I'd poll the OSE forum.
You can buy the corrosion X right here on OSE. I don't think hobby shops sell it. The trick is you spray it on your electronics and let it dry. This gives a protective film and keeps your electronics from getting wet and corroding. I spray my servos, esc and receivers with the stuff.
