Default SwordFish HV 240 or 300A Data access

The HV ESC's do not have a BEC. I see there is an extra "Servo" plug with just 2 wires, power and ground coming from the ESC.

Exactly what is this for? Doesn't show in their schematic.

Is it required for data retrieval?

At the water, exactly what do you have to do to access the data? Does it require taking things apart to unplug the ESC in order to plug the linker in, then power it somehow, then plug into the laptop?
Is there a simple way to look over the data after each run, to facilitate prop choices?

    Thanks

I just found a different instruction package that shows the mystery servo plug use.
It requires a "Y" connector between it and the 3 wire throttle input wire. the combined circuit plugs into the USB Linker when NOT powered by the main battery.
Sooooo... Now do I have to expose the Rx and unplug the ESC from the RX Throttle plug then plug it into the Y adaptor, then plug in the linker to the Y harness and into the USB on the laptop?
Is there a simpler way? or am I just lazy?

This is where I found the better manual than the one on the HiFei website.

Yes the spare plug is used as power source for the program box.

I usually use a jumper wire on the throttle connection, so the plug is easily accessible without disturbing the receiver.
