Default proboat 26 recoiil ecm wiring controller problem

bought a used 26 recoil. ran decent 1st time out on stock battery. lubed the shaft as it seemed it never was. turned out motor bearing was out of the housing. tried to put it back in but with all the rust i saw inside i ordered another stock motor and battery. had forgotten the wiring config asked Horizon for help told plug all 3 to ecs try if not in correct rotation flip any 2 wires and that would correct rotation. well i did all that and went out to try it but the gator said not now. so a couple of days later started out ok, think batteries in controller were low changed them in correctly now all i get is forward on pull slow speed and reverse fast speed when i let up . now the ecm blinks 3 times then just constantly beeps. tried all wiring options again no luck.

    any help would be appreciated

Try leaving the middle wire alone and just swap the outside wires on the motor and esc. . .also check all the trims on the controller. .especially the throttle trim as you said it goes on full throttle. . .turn the throttle trim knob on TX until you have a balance where it stops running. .

maybe tape up the throttle trim lever or dial so this don,t happen again.

Ok, I''m in the Tampa area and always looking to find other guys nearby to run our boats with but you're over 2hrs away. I believe there's a rc boat club in Sarasota area if you're ever interested in joining one.
