Yeah. In front of the dog. I normally run one as wel but thinking two may be less friction. Just wondering.

no thrust washers needed. if the drive dog touches the thrust washer , you know the dog is too close to the strut. the normal spacing without a washer is the diameter of the shaft ie; 3/16 inch shaft = 3/16 gap between these both surfaces. any contact only causes drag and over heating of electronics.
Thanks guys. I prefer to run one and account for it when setting gap. Would rather wear out the washer than the dog or strut. Was just thinking two would cut down on friction encase it does draw in too tight.

5mm Thrust Ball Bearing is perfect
yes to be used at motor end of shaft not at strut end.
I use the 5mm Thrust Ball Bearing at end of shaft in front of the drive dog, I put WD40 or oïl after esch run that' s perfect, very high efficiency !
yes i suppose by having this bearing thrust washer at the strut end , it would stop the flexable shaft from coiling up in tension thus giving less drag to the shaft.
