    Default Telemetry on twin set up

    Excuse my ignorance but, I was looking to buy A Spektrum DX5r with telemetry, my question is can the telemetry be used on twins is so how would it be set up.

    I have mine set up with a different radio but monitoring single cell voltage, RPM, motor temp and ESC temp. I'm using the outboard side but wonder if I should monitor the inboard side? It seems slightly warmer with the temp gun after a run.

    I also use a 5R. At present, it can only monitor one temp sensor. I use it for a single motor as most of my ESC's have plenty of headroom and do not run hot. I read a post by one of the Spektrum software developers that said it would be possible for multiple sensors of the same type to be used, but that it was pretty low on his list of things to do as this current telemetry platform is new and used for aircraft stick radios as well. That was last winter.
