    Default Balance Extension wire Guage

I got burned on Ebay. Seller said it was 22AWG cables and it's far from it.

Proper 22AWG I have has 14 strands of 0.007" wire inside, the ones I bought have 7 strands of 0.005" wire.

    I filed a complaint.

My question is, what is the wire gauge for 7 strands of this wire?? 30, 40??

Awg is a standard for a wire thickness, weather it's solid wire or stranded it should be the over all thickness. Hope this helps.

What charger/s do you have? What you received will be plenty big enough for most.
Most chargers can't pull more than 300mA (and often 100mA for low end chargers) through the balancer, so you would need really tiny wire to overheat it, anything over 32awg (a single strand of .008") should be sufficient for a 300mA current.

I'm using ISDT Q6 plus chargers. The wire is so flimsy though, easy to break.
