I am in Grand Rapids.. The tooling for the boat is mine, but a good friend of mine in Detroit lays them up. He does nice work.

    Where are you?

If you have tooling, he can layup anything.:) The guys from skater and I designed and built this tooling, SCT lays up boats when I need one for me or a customer.

My web site is www.classonerc.com. I offer the 72" Skater 388 race, or the PPB DragCat. Maybe a few other hulls in the works.

seems to be a very nice project. Which LMT 3080's do you have and which props you want to run on 12S2P per motor?

    best regards,
    manuel

Lol, it has been a real eye opener when it comes to cost of building a big fast Fe boat. But its my only hobby... no fast cars or trick heli's like most guys. Just boats :)

9 wind. That seems to be a popular wind among the big cat guys in Germany... so I figured I should just follow they're lead.

3080/9's... planning to run x470's. Most of the guys on 12s2p using the 40.160's run the x465's, so I figure the bigger controllers should be able to handle the bump... what do you think?

    Wow. A 13 year thread.

That was laid up at SCI in Troy, MI I believe. Not too many people have experience with a hull that big. You may want to try Keith Bradley Boats.

Borisch has a sweet restored Riva Aquarama too.
