    Winter project

Just gave myself a winter project. Large wreck with the Atlas blaster today. Seemed to get a little airborne, came down with rudder input I think, then a spin-out flip something. Happened so fast.Tore the cowling right off. Only issue I can think of is remembering the blue paint I used.

It should be fairly easy to make a similar mold from Carbon fiber or fiberglass to replace it with... :)

i've done it for other simpler parts but i would imagine it should be a similar process

Not if the other piece sank....

As for Mr. Whitman, what I have won't do well in 1/8. But I do have a TP 5650 1290kv 8D and motor mount I may be willing to part with.
        But in my 1/10, it was a Leo 2200 4s2p with a T180 and x445.

Well, after putting it off forever and (one of those 'round to its!), I've finally put together a new cowl for my Atlas. Got the scoops on this one, it stands a tad bit taller. I have a driver from Classic Hydro's I'm gonna try to put in. Trying another trip to the lake. Using a 1900kv fandrive from Hobbyking, a T120 and a x442 on 4s.20200805_194702.jpg
