Thanks, do you have an idea about diameter and pitch for the propellers ?

Geez, I guess you’ll have to go CNC to get CR props but I’d think 37mm could be a good size, maybe 35mm? I have a 40” twin mono running 442’s and it is running 50mph. TP 4030 1180kv on 8s 4200mah. I know it’s a different setup but it gives you an idea that you don’t need huge props to do well.

    I was thinking about 38mm x 1,4 pitch for the props ...

It's currently 2x SSS 4082 2200 KV on 4S with 150 amp raider ESC's and 44mm 1.4 props. Cheers .R Beer. p.s. A generous hatch size is important when selecting a hull for a twin!

    @ RunningBeer

You build a "double" setup mono ! 4082 motors ... Is it a very fast boat ?

There's a bit of vid from an early run here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tobZ3H2icco . It's quick enough for my driving. The best part is how tight it can carve left and right turns.

    I have 2 sets of motors :
    - 2 x 2960 2200kV , 175 Gr per motor
    - 2 x 3660 2400kV , 240 Gr per motor

3660 motors are too heavy imho, what do tou think ?

The twin pursuit on my page had twin 3660's 2200KV on 4s. It's a similar size to what you are building. It was a weapon but I didn't reinforce the hull and she broke after several large crashes. I'm no expert but I think the 29's will struggle to dissipate the heat on a boat that big.

    If I use 3660 2400 kV motors I' m afraid the boat will be heavy , + 130 Grammes.

    Hello Alain !

    How are you ??

Do you really intend to start such a project ??
Do you know that you will have to use a drill and make holes in your hull ??
You should do like the other boats you have, and leave it in peace on a beautiful shelf.

    cheers
