lipos in parallel get you double the MAH ...does that mean you also get double the C rating on lipo?
looking at a 6s 4ooomah 65C to run Parallel .
Thanks for help

No, the c rating is the same.
The C rating is the relationship between the Capacity (A-Hr) and the discharge
Max discharge amps = (C rating)* (A-Hr)
or
Max discharge amps = (C rating)* (MA-Hr/1000)
Parallel the cells you get double the MAh, double the peak current, c rating is still the same.
I like revolectrix.
Cheetah, Super Rio, (Mod) Starship (Mod and sold),
Ty.
So in chooseing a 6s lipo to use in parallel is the C rating as important?
Can I run lower c rating ...
You could get away with lower C rating in theory.
I always buy the highest C rating I can afford. Thinking being that at amperage X they will deliver higher voltage. Significant? Probably not but if I get nowhere near the C rating the cells will hold up better. Again, in theory.
Noisy person
I never wired in parallel, couldn't spell it yesterday...…..lol
anyone have any pics or tips
I ordered 2 5s lipos today
I don't have any pics handy but I believe OSE sells connectors harnesses just for that. Take the think'n out of it.

I have several 3 s lipos on the shelf. what do you think of a 3s setup two lipo in parallel (3s 5000mah 70C)
1750 kv motor should run 22k rpm and with a octura 2352 it will be in around 65 mph
would that work?
I went with two 5S 4000mah @ 60c admiral pros in parallel
I got a couple runs in today, I love this set up...…(5S lipos in parallell / TP Power 1750kv / 55mm. X 1.6" CNC OSE Prop = 65mph into the wind, theres a little more with boat set up rite
full boogie its out of the water running on mostly on the prop and over 62 mph the nose is lifting very high so best to let off. All electronics are cool, amps are at 247 or so peak occasionally at 100% throttle, the rest of run the amps are much lower.
