Paint is coming along. Zach (Zach's Customs) sent me a little teaser pic of under the tunnel.

Thx Steve! Aside from a different hull design, it will resemble the boat in my avatar. I'm going to be meeting the owner/driver of that race boat Sept.28. Him and his throttleman will be autographing the canopy, then the final clear coat will go on. I won't have the boat back in my hands until the second weekend in October. I can start rigging it then and see what this thing will do.

I’ve got a few nice props but don’t know anything about them because they were just loosely thrown into a parts bag.. Do you have any advice on how big of esc s I should get ? I’m on a budget and can’t afford the real good top dollar stuff , but any sujestions would be appreciated..
looking forward to watching more videos of your bitcoin boat...

100 mph and budget is tough, if not impossible.

Well in all honesty someone told me it couldn’t be done with cheap Chinese gear! Guess what!! It’s been in the water for years.
One just has to be smart and patient. And maybe listen to the fella with $3k worth of props, LOL

$3K in props? Yikes lol Now I've seen cheap Chinese gear make MHZ Mystics fly, but that's a super efficient hull.

Haha, yup I just was kinda moving up in MPH there set by set. I really only aimed for 100 on that boat. But then 105, then 110 and then, and still aiming at 120. Not quite there! Dang it!

Might just make it on HPR tho.

I guess we should get back to Budman here. What kind of budget are you thinking or what we’re you planning to replace? 100 is steep proposition but close to it is not impossible. And it also takes the right running conditions and space.

Did you click on the link in post 43? If you're interested in paint work, I can get you in touch with him. He's in Port Richey.

Thanks guys!! Shawn, that is the Stihl boat. Aaron bought it from them last year, then got a repaint, new engines and drives. The real one is my avatar.

Nice lineup. I didn't even ask him about the windshield. They're always black.
