Default Aquacraft mini wildcat battery usage

I own a twin motor wildcat, a gift. It came with a 1100 mah battery & charger. The speed is extremely slow. Any recommendations on batteries to use? I would like to use it to retrieve my M41, but it has no power.

in the long run you should set your sites on a bigger recovery boat, just the ease of working on. the parts on the mini's are just not up for longevity.
they're meant for short term fun. i have two, the mini rio and strx9 and look good next to my models and slot cars on display. a higher voltage batt will just shorten life of those lil' motors.
I'am assuming it's the mini wild cat.

yours has the two round twist access panels into hull? here some where maybe it was another forum. you trim away (Dremel)
those two sections and make one larger oval easier access to all that mini electronics, yet leave room for hatch to still seal.
i was going to do that to the RIO.
